Who-bilation

Wednesday, December 23, 2009
My husband, sister and I recently hosted a "Grinch" themed Christmas open house party so I thought I'd share some photos from that.  I especially loved my daughter's little cookies & hot cocoa hat I made for her.  We had some awesome friends who went all out in their "Who-costumes" and entertained us with a lively game of Crazy Ninja and some marshmallow fights.  Good times and good laughs ~ that's what the holidays are all about!

A Trip Around the World

Wednesday, December 16, 2009
My sister and I recently embarked on a "magical" trip around the world with our mum for her birthday (if you didn't get the cryptic message - I referring to Epcot Studios in Orlando)!  Here are a few photos from our journeys...

I'm attracted to shiny, dazzling things...

Can you tell where we were here?

Jellyfish are a wondrous thing

This photo was for my children who immediately exclaimed, "NEMO!"

So, I like fish.....

My sister, completely caffeinated and bedazzled after drinking a Moorish coffee in Morocco

Attempting to make a phone call from the U.K. - there was a dial tone too!

Hello China!

Our feet were tired but our hearts were full

Happy Birthday Mum!

Feelin' Groovy

Two weekends ago, I had the priviledge of photographing another one of my co-workers and her lovely little family.  Grace is an accomplished Early Childhood Educator and yoga-extraordinaire and being around her (and her family) can bring such a sense of calm and kindness, it felt like hanging out with old friends the entire photoshoot!  Editing some of their photos brought little tears to my eyes - they were just so loving and tender towards one another - it was an honor to get an inside glimpse into the wonderful world of "them".
