Two of my bestest friends, who were highschool sweethearts, just had their first baby.  I loved how the proud daddy-o would quote Counting Crows lyrics along with all the pictures he'd post on facebook of his little lovely lady.  It was my immeasurable pleasure to be able to get to take pictures of sweet Anna - I am beyond happy that their little girl and MY new little girl get to grow up being friends just like we had been! (p.s. take note of the sweet personalized mickey mouse hat she's sporting - ready for her first disney trip in a couple of months! she better get ready to grow up LOVING disney!!)

My baby girl is one month old today!  I can't believe how time flies - I've heard tale of it and I should remember from Ava-bug but I still get overwhelmed in awe when I think of all the little tiny changes that, rolled up into one big ball, make for a month of dramatic difference.

August 2010: my bestie and I went and got nose piercings together; our birthdays are three days apart and it was something we did together to celebrate.  Well, apparently we both got knocked up for our birthdays as well because 9 months later, we had our babies, two days apart.  And now they're going to be besties!  Introducing to the world: Atticus Holden - the cutest, handsomest, most dashing little man I know!
