Girl, Interrupted

Yes, I'm going to star in my own version of that infamous movie with how crazy it's been around here lately.  I've finished up my summer subbing position at the preschool, 2010 plumb pricing decisions, new website design, Ava's 2nd birthday, getting Ethan ready to start school next week (good lawdy!), photosessions every week + editing them all.  Wow.  But you know what - I'm thankful for the busy-ness because it means I'm not dead (or lazy).  Anyway, I apologize for not updating the blog the past few weeks.  I have been working and I do have photos to show you...So today, I will give you little peeks into the last few sessions that have come 'round the corner here at Plumb.

Life is exciting ~ can't you tell by the fascinating lives lived by these beautiful people?!  I can't wait to show you the new website - COMING SOOOOOOOON!

When Kala approached me and said she wanted to schedule a photo session for her daughter she referred me to the style of the music video to "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum.  I'm not much of a country music person but the lyrics to this are sweetly beautiful, they remind me of my summer sunshine & lemonade childhoods, raised in the south.  I immediately had lots of ideas after watching the video (and *hint hint* - what an AWESOME avenue from which to pull photo session ideas from....).

There Will be Sun, There Will be Rain

I have been so extremely busy recently that I haven't updated the blog with any photos of my own family! For shame....! So here I am to show off a little of our goings-on as of late. 

Ethan graduated Kindergarten and had a blast at his school's field day.  He is a dancing king...see his hair flop!

I spent a week NOT working just with me kiddos and we played outside a lot.  I love this action shot of Ethan (nice hand Ava....)

We got ready for Father's Day and made shirts to wear in honor of Isaac playing off the fact that he always pokes fun at "Team Edward\Team Jacob" t-shirts

We "took Daddy" to see Toy Story 3 in 3D - we had a blast!  As you can see, Jessie & Woody came along...

As of late we've been experiencing a monsoon of weather - constant gray, rainy days.

But it makes for fun, puddle play!
